About the Role

Melbourne Polytechnic is seeking a dynamic STEM Communication Officer to support the effective delivery of innovative STEM education and engagement programs at the Whittlesea Tech School. This is a great opportunity to contribute to strategic projects, drive operational improvements, and support collaborative team success in a purpose-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver student-centered STEM learning experiences using digital, visual, and interactive media
• Promote STEM and innovation through events, exhibitions, and online engagement
• Collaborate with educators and stakeholders to embed design, innovation, and enterprise skills
• Facilitate inquiry-based projects with secondary students and teachers
• Support the presentation and exhibition of learning resources

Skills and Experience Required

• Qualifications and/or experience in Design, STEM education, Science, Technology, or related fields
• Strong communication skills with the ability to engage diverse audiences
• Experience in developing and evaluating engaging learning content
• Proficiency in digital tools and emerging technologies
• Excellent teamwork, time management, and problem-solving abilities

Additional Requirements

Successful candidate will be required to provide:

• A valid Victorian Employee Working with Children Check (WWCC)
  
• A National Police Check
