Looking for a part-time role in a supportive, down-to-earth workplace? We’re a small, family-run accounting practice based in Carnegie, and we’re on the lookout for a reliable and friendly Office Administrator to join our team.
About the Role
This is a part-time position working Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9:30am to 3:30pm, though we’re happy to be flexible with hours if needed. The role involves general admin support to help keep things running smoothly in our office.
Your Day-to-Day Will Include:
Answering phone calls and greeting clients
Booking appointments and managing calendars
Data entry and filing (digital and paper)
Scanning, printing, and handling mail
Keeping the office tidy and organised
Providing general support to the accountants when needed
What We’re Looking For:
Previous admin or reception experience (ideal, but not essential)
Confident with computers and have a good eye for detail
Friendly, professional, and easy to talk to
Comfortable working independently in a small team
Someone who’s proactive, helpful, and easy-going
Knowledge of accounting basics (like invoicing, document management, or lodging forms) will be well regarded
Experience with BGL360 and Xero is highly advantageous
