The Company:

A leading retail organisation located in Macquarie Park is looking to add a commercially minded Data Analyst to join their finance team. You will leverage data analytics and provide insights that help make data-driven decisions and support operational and strategic direction. This is a great opportunity to join a purpose led organisation within a fast growing organisation. You must be able to work in the office 4 days per week.

The Role:

• Play a key role in analysing performance trends and providing key stakeholders with actionable data insights and opportunities for process optimisation & improvement
• Transform data into clear business objectives by applying your strong storytelling skills
• Design and build reports & dashboards that display key metrics, including operational and financial data
• Develop forecasting models to support strategic direction
• Report automation & optimisation

Your Skillset:

• A minimum of 3+ years as a Data Analyst with proven experience working with large datasets
• Technically strong with SQL, Excel and PowerBI
• Commercially minded with strong storytelling ability
• Experience working across distributed teams & environments
• Ideally, you have worked as a Data Analyst supporting Finance teams, providing data-driven insights, reporting & dashboards
• Strong stakeholder engagement & management skills
