A Global Wholesaler of consumer products, with operations across Australia, China the US, and Europe, is centralizing its finance function in Melbourne. With a $100M+ turnover, the business supplies major retailers and is strengthening its financial reporting and control over its international operations.

The Role

An exciting opportunity exists for a qualified Senior Accountant to support global finance operations, focusing on the US and Australian entities. The main duties will include;

• Manage full sets of accounts
• Reconcile intercompany transactions
• Monitor inventory and cost of goods sold
• Support month-end reporting and consolidation
• Involvement in budgeting and forecasting
• Transfer pricing
• Continuous process improvements

Key Requirements

• CPA/CA qualified with 3-5 years' experience
• Strong inventory, COGS, and multi-entity accounting skills
• Experience in wholesale or import/export environments
• Strong Excel: SAP preferred
• Mandarin skills and US accounting exposure highly regarded
