The Role

As a Financial Accountant, you'll play a critical role in ensuring the integrity and accuracy of financial reporting across the business. Reporting to the Finance Manager, this role has broad exposure across compliance, month-end close, reconciliations, and process improvement initiatives. You'll work closely with operational and leadership teams to support timely financial decision-making and continuous business growth.

Key responsibilities include:

• Delivering timely and accurate financial reports, variance analysis, and dashboards
• Managing tax compliance and working with external stakeholders and regulatory bodies
• Leading month-end processes, including bank reconciliations and balance sheet accuracy
• Maintaining key systems (e.g., Xero, NetSuite, XAP) and financial documentation
• Identifying and driving process improvements that support a scaling business
• Providing guidance and mentorship to junior finance team members
• Contributing to a positive and collaborative team environment

Your Profile

We're looking for a commercially minded and technically strong finance professional who thrives in a changing environment. You will be confident juggling multiple priorities and passionate about adding value through your work.

You will ideally bring:

• CA Qualified (or near completion)
• Strong understanding of financial reporting, tax obligations, and compliance
• Experience managing reconciliations, month-end processes, and variance analysis
• Systems experience across platforms such as Xero, NetSuite, and Microsoft Excel
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
• A natural curiosity and drive for process improvement
• A collaborative mindset with a willingness to contribute to team culture
