The Role

Reporting to the Group Finance Manager, this Accountant role offers exposure across all core accounting functions in a multi-entity environment. You will play a vital part in month-end close, financial reporting, budgeting and forecasting, compliance, payroll support, and process improvement.

• Preparing Statutory documentation (BAS, FBT, WorkCover, Payroll Tax)
• Leading Month end processes
• Balance sheet reconciliations and maintaining a fixed asset register
• Supporting your finance manager with cash flow forecasting, cost analysis, budgeting and forecasting
• Supporting audit preparation and ongoing refinement of financial controls and systems

Your Profile

You will be a hands on accountant, someone who loves connecting with building relationships with those around them, who has an eye for process improvement and would like to improve processes.

• CA or CPA Qualified
• Proven experience managing a month end process
• Demonstrated experience with tax, compliance, reporting and reconciliations
• A proactive and solutions focussed mind set
• Confident communicator, comfortable supporting and mentoring junior team members
• A mind for process improvement, someone who likes to bring forth new ideas.
