The Role
Based in Perth, the Account Manager – Architects & Designers will focus on increasing brand awareness and driving product specification through the architecture, design, and high-end multi-res and residential builder network.
You’ll be working on design-led residential and commercial projects, building strong relationships from the first conversation through to the final specification. This is a role for someone who thrives on influence, education, and creative collaboration — not just transactional selling.
You’ll conduct CPD presentations, drop samples, attend industry events, and bring your personality into every interaction to create meaningful connections with specifiers across the Perth Metro area and beyond.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive growth by building a strong pipeline of specification opportunities
- Develop and nurture relationships with architects, interior designers, and boutique builders
- Deliver engaging CPD presentations and consultative product discussions
- Provide samples and technical advice to support the design and selection process
- Attend design industry events and maintain strong visibility in the A&D community
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure project specs are held through to order
- Maintain up-to-date records in the CRM and report on key project wins and pipeline activity
- Represent a market-leading brand with integrity, energy, and style
Skills and Experience:
- Experience in B2B sales within building materials
- A strong network or some exposure to the A&D or boutique builder community is desirable
- A background or qualification in design (highly regarded)
- Commercially savvy with excellent communication and presentation skills
- Self-motivated, proactive, and confident managing long project cycles
- Tech-savvy and comfortable with CRM systems
- Valid driver’s licence required
