We’re looking for a visionary and operationally strong General Manager to lead the charge at Genesis Health Services (GHS) — someone who can step into the CEO's shoes when needed, drive frontline performance, and inspire a team delivering life-changing support to individuals with disability.

🔑 What You’ll Do:

Lead a passionate team across disability support programs

Manage daily operations, staffing, service delivery & growth

Drive compliance, performance, and innovation in our NDIS-funded programs

Support the CEO and step into their role when required

Promote a strong workplace culture that puts clients first

Build and maintain relationships with key internal and external stakeholders

Ensure every service is delivered with dignity, choice, and quality

✅ What We’re Looking For:

10+ years of experience in the Australian Disability/Care sector

5+ years in senior management, preferably in private, medium-sized businesses

Strong leadership, people management, and operational skills

Experience with NDIS, funding models, and service delivery innovation

Proven ability to lead teams and manage change

Formal management training or qualifications

Deep understanding of the NDIS, disability rights, and legislation

Committed to on-site leadership – this role is not remote

📌 You Must Also Have:

Tertiary qualification in Social Work, Psychology, Disability, or related field

National Police Check (within 12 months)

NDIS Worker Screening Check

Working With Children Check

Full COVID-19 Vaccination

Valid Victorian Driver’s Licence + Car Insurance

Valid Australian work rights

Must live in Southeast, East, CBD, or Mornington Peninsula (candidates from West or North Melbourne will not be considered)
