We are looking for a friendly, capable and proactive individual to step into the role of Kids Club Supervisor & Admin Support Officer at the Clem Jones Centre.

This full-time role is a unique opportunity to work in a hybrid role that offers a unique mix of responsibilities, With a strong focus on supervising and leading our Kids Club program, alongside providing general administrative support to help the Centre run smoothly.

About the Role

This role is perfect for someone who enjoys variety in their day, loves working with people (especially children and families), and thrives in a fast-paced, community-focussed environment.

This is a hands-on, people-focused role designed to support the smooth day-to-day functioning of the Centre. You’ll be responsible for creating a positive and safe experience for families using the Kids Club, while also playing a key role in assisting the management team with a range of administrative tasks.

The ideal candidate is someone who enjoys variety, takes initiative, and is eager to grow professionally in a supportive and fast-paced environment.

This position will be Monday - Friday and based on site at the Clem Jones Centre.

Key Responsibilities

Kids Club Supervision & Program Support:

Create a safe, fun and welcoming environment for children in the Kids Club.

Oversee daily operations such as bookings, check-ins and attendance management.

Communicate positively with parents, guardians and staff.

Support planning and delivery of activities that engage and entertain children.

Manage the Kids Club Team including rosters.

Maintain high standards of safety, cleanliness and compliance.

Administrative Assistance:

Assist with a range of administrative tasks across HR, finance and general operations.

Provide general support to the Centre management team as required.

What You’ll Bring

A friendly, approachable persona who is confident working with both children and adults.

Experience in a childcare setting (advantageous)

Cert III in Childcare (or willingness to obtain - advantageous)

Strong people management skills

Experience with the Microsoft suite

Current First Aid, CPR, and Blue Card (or willingness to obtain)

A flexible, proactive approach and passion for community wellbeing
