About the role
We are seeking an experienced and proactive Office Manager to join our dynamic team at Veritas Foods in Homebush West, NSW. As Office Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the smooth daily operations of our office, ensuring efficient administrative support and contributing to the overall success of the business. This is a full-time role with the opportunity to work in a collaborative and supportive environment.
What you'll be doing
Manage and oversee all administrative functions, including coordinating schedules, meetings, and office supplies
Serve as the primary point of contact for staff, clients, and external stakeholders, addressing inquiries and resolving issues efficiently
Implement and maintain office policies, procedures, and systems to enhance productivity and streamline processes
Assist with financial tasks, such as invoicing, expense tracking, and budget management
Ensure the office environment is well-maintained, professional, and conducive to a positive work culture
Manage end-to-end procurement processes, including sourcing, negotiation, ordering, and receiving of office supplies, equipment, and services
Develop and maintain strong relationships with vendors to secure the best terms and service levels
Ordering packaging materials for warehouse
Manage day to day for packing slips and manifesting for warehouse team
Proficient in excel, google docs, shopify.
What we're looking for
Minimum 3-5 years of experience in an office management or senior administrative role
Strong organisational and multitasking skills, with the ability to prioritise and manage competing demands
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with all levels of the organisation
Proficient in using office productivity tools, such as Microsoft Office suite and project management software
Proven track record of implementing efficient processes and procedures to streamline operations
Experience in supervising and leading a team of administrative staff
Adaptable and able to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment
Diploma in Business Administration or relevant qualification preferred
Experience in basic bookkeeping, account reconciliation, and budget management
