ABOUT THE ROLE:
Performatec are seeking a loyal, experienced and detail-oriented Office Administrator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth day-to-day operations of the office, supporting staff and management, and maintaining an efficient and welcoming work environment.
As our Office Administrator, you will be responsible for:
Reception Duties: Greet visitors, answer phone calls, and handle inquiries in a professional and courteous manner.
Administrative Support: Provide general administrative and clerical support including monitoring email inboxes, scanning and sorting mail.
Bookkeeping: Process invoices and bills, data entry, prepare reports, assist in compiling information for meetings and reports, and tracking expenses.
Record Keeping: Maintain electronic and hard copy filing systems and update contact lists and office documentation.
Sales Admin: Processing of waterjet garnet orders; 3PL warehouse management, stock ordering, and arranging for delivery and dispatch.
Scheduling & Coordination: Manage and coordinate travel arrangements for staff and contractors as needed.
HR Support: Assist in onboarding new employees, and maintaining employee records.
Supplies Management: Monitor and order office supplies; liaise with vendors and service providers.
Office Maintenance: Ensure the office is clean, organized, and well-maintained; coordinate with building management or facilities as needed.

Qualifications:
Proven experience in an office administration role or similar position.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (particularly Excel).
Strong organisational and time-management skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication.
Ability to multitask and prioritise responsibilities.
High level of discretion and professionalism.
Familiarity with office equipment and systems (e.g., printers, phone systems, CRM).
