Our client, a leading Australian owned company with a strong brand portfolio and a loyal customer base, specialising in freight forwarding. This role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to the company's ongoing success and support its strategic expansion efforts.

The Role

• Coordinate end-to-end import and export shipments, including documentation, bookings, and customs clearance
• Liaise with freight forwarders, customs brokers, and transport providers to ensure timely delivery
• Prepare and manage shipping documentation (Bills of Lading, commercial invoices, packing lists, etc.)
• Monitor shipment status and proactively resolve any delays or issues
• Ensure compliance with local and international trade regulations
• Maintain accurate records of shipments, costs, and logistics activities
• Work closely with internal teams such as sales, procurement, and warehouse staff
• Support the finance team with invoice checking and credit processing

Your Background

• Previous experience in international freight, logistics, or supply chain (import/export coordination ideal)
• Solid understanding of incoterms, customs procedures, and international shipping documentation
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to multi-task and prioritise under pressure
• Proficient in MS Office and logistics systems
• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
• A proactive, solutions-focused mindset
