Opportunity for a highly organised, analytically minded, systems savvy and customer focused individual Coordinator to join the Operations Team.
- Make a difference with a reputable not-for-profit organisation
- Full time ongoing position
- Be part of a growing organisation with a values-led culture
Are you ready to nurture your career at Gowrie Victoria?
For over 85 years, Gowrie Victoria has been at the forefront of high-quality early learning.
We’re a not-for-profit organisation with a reputation for inspiring others and shining a light on best practice.
Our strength is our culture. It is built on a foundation of genuine curiosity. We encourage our people to ask questions, be reflective, and bring their authentic selves to work.
About the role
As our Operations Coordinator, you’ll play a key role in supporting the Operations Manager and local site teams by providing monitoring, reporting, and hands-on operational support to ensure our services have the tools and capability to meet compliance requirements and maximise funding and enrolments - while always looking for ways to improve systems and processes.
No two days are the same - you’ll be working across multiple systems (like QikKids and 1Place), checking reports, troubleshooting technical issues, supporting admin teams, and helping sites maintain consistency with regulations and policy.
You'll also play a key role in projects and continuous improvement initiatives, working alongside educators, admin teams and leadership to make sure our systems are working well and supporting the best outcomes for children.
This is a great opportunity to be part of a passionate, purpose-driven organisation that genuinely puts people first.
About you
You’ll be someone who enjoys working behind the scenes to keep things running smoothly. You’ll have a great eye for detail, confidence with systems, and a problem-solving mindset.
We’re looking for someone who has:
- Cert III qualification (minimum) in Early Childhood Education and Care (ECEC) and/or a business-related field
- Sound knowledge of the ECEC sector from an operational and compliance perspective.
- Strong working knowledge of Childcare Management Systems and Family Assistance Law as it relates to childcare fee assistance.
- Ability to navigate and understand the National Quality Framework (NQF), National Law and National Regulations and our compliance obligations.
- A valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle (travel across sites is required)
What we offer
- A culture where 92% of staff say Gowrie Victoria is a great place to work – and we couldn’t agree more!
- Personalised professional development with free access to Gowrie’s eLearning platform!
- Paid parental leave and an employee childcare discount of up to 30% off the gap fee
- 17.5% annual leave loading paid in December – when you need it!
- Events to recognise the achievements of our team members
- A positive wokplace culture and engaged workforce
- Flexible working conditions
Ready to make a genuine impact?
