What You’ll Do

• Assess and approve deposit bond applications in line with internal credit policy
• Review credit reports, financials, contracts of sale, and supporting documents
• Make sound recommendations within (or beyond) delegated authority limits
• Liaise with brokers, clients, and internal teams to progress applications
• Mentor junior assessors and support Customer Experience Managers
• Contribute to fraud detection strategies and ongoing policy refinement

What You Bring

• 5+ years in credit assessment, underwriting, or residential lending
• Strong knowledge of mortgage processes and credit risk principles
• Confidence in assessing complex scenarios (e.g. self-employed applicants)
• Exceptional attention to detail and analytical thinking
• A proactive mindset and commitment to delivering customer-first outcomes
• Clear, confident communication skills with a collaborative spirit
