The Role
As a Senior Credit Analyst, you will be a key member of the APAC team, working closely with the Chief Credit Officer to ensure robust credit analysis and decision-making. You will manage a significant portfolio, uphold credit quality, and drive relationships. Key responsibilities include:
- Establishing and maintaining a robust credit analysis process for portfolios.
- Coordinating credit submissions and ensuring compliance with underwriting principles.
- Managing vendor reviews and APAC credit limit assessments.
- Ensuring all client security documentation is perfected and compliant.
- Overseeing credit decisioning with a $10M delegated lending authority.
- Monitoring adherence to policies to minimize losses and fraud.
- Presenting credit submissions to Regional and Global Credit Committees as required.
The Candidate
The successful candidate will bring senior-level expertise and a proactive approach to credit analysis. Essential qualifications and skills include:
- Tertiary qualifications in banking, finance, accounting, or commerce (highly desired).
- Minimum 5 years' experience in a similar role in financial services.
- Strong understanding of financial statements and analytical skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Proven influencing, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
- Effective time management and excel proficiency.
