What You’ll Do

• Assess and approve deposit bond applications in line with credit policies
• Analyse credit reports, financials, contracts of sale, and other supporting docs
• Make clear decisions and recommendations within or beyond delegated limits
• Partner with brokers, customers, and internal teams to progress applications
• Support and mentor junior assessors and Customer Experience Managers
• Contribute to ongoing refinement of credit policies and fraud risk strategies

What You Bring

• 5+ years in credit assessment, underwriting, or residential lending
• Strong understanding of mortgage processes and credit risk principles
• Excellent analytical and communication skills
• Experience assessing complex applications including self-employed and investors
• A proactive, detail-oriented approach and commitment to accuracy
• A passion for delivering customer-centric outcomes while managing risk
