ABOUT THE ROLE

We’re looking for an experienced Credit Analyst with 3+ years of experience and a strong background in credit assessment. Experience in asset or equipment finance is highly preferable.

This role suits someone who can confidently assess financial applications, spot potential risks early, and deliver strategic insights to support strong submissions. You’ll work closely with our brokers and lenders to ensure each deal is submitted with accuracy, confidence, and speed.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Stay up to date with all lender credit policies and requirements

Conduct in-depth credit and financial analysis for clients seeking asset finance

Liaise with brokers to clarify application requirements and identify potential issues early

Provide clear recommendations to support strong lender submissions

Prepare full application packs including:

Business background and operational insight

Asset funding analysis and justification

Financial analysis using accountant-prepared statements, tax portals, and payslips

Cash flow forecasting as required

Clear and persuasive credit commentary

Work closely with lenders, banks, and credit officers to ensure timely outcomes

Maintain accurate client and application records, including status updates and credit policy changes

WHAT YOU’LL BRING

Proven experience as a Credit Analyst (ideally in asset or equipment finance)

Strong understanding of lender policies and credit requirements

Confidence in analysing company financials and supporting documentation

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Intermediate to advanced MS Office skills (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint)

Strong organisational skills and attention to detail

Ability to work collaboratively within a team
