Key Responsibilities

Credit Review & Analysis

Review and assess credit proposals (new lending, variations, consents, and annual reviews) submitted by Corporate Banking and Financial Institutions teams.

Conduct credit analysis, due diligence, risk assessments, and research in line with internal credit policies and procedures.

Provide credit recommendations as part of the local credit approval process.

Liaise with internal stakeholders and external parties to understand transaction structure and associated risks.

Policy & Project Support

Support team members in the upskilling of credit knowledge and processes.

Assist with reviewing and updating internal credit policies, procedures, and operating manuals.

Contribute to credit-related projects and initiatives as required by leadership.

Credit Committee Coordination

Act as secretary for Credit Committee and post-loan management meetings.

Prepare and distribute meeting materials such as agendas, portfolio reports, minutes, and credit documentation.

Coordinate with internal stakeholders to ensure timely and efficient meeting logistics.

Key Requirements

Essential

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Commerce, or related discipline.

Minimum 1 year of experience in a corporate banking environment.

Strong attention to detail, analytical mindset, and ability to manage multiple priorities.

Proficiency in both English and Mandarin (written and spoken).

Excellent communication skills and a collaborative work ethic.

Desirable

2–3 years of credit experience within corporate or institutional banking.
