Refyne Loans is scaling fast — and we’re looking for a Senior Credit Assessor or Credit Manager to help shape the future of lending in Australia. This isn’t just about policies and pipelines — it’s about leading a team, driving outcomes, and setting a new standard in investor lending.

If you’ve got deep credit knowledge, at least 2 years of mortgage broking experience, and a passion for mentoring others while still staying sharp in policy and deal structuring — we want to hear from you.

The Opportunity:

Macquarie Park HQ (Hybrid: WFH Tuesdays + Fridays)

Full-Time, Permanent Role

$150K Base + Super + Uncapped Comms (Leads Provided)

People Management + Credit Leadership

Your Day-to-Day Will Include:

Leadership & Oversight: Mentor and support a small team of assessors and brokers — setting the gold standard for credit accuracy, compliance, and structure.

Advanced Credit Review: Own complex deal scenarios and oversee file quality across the pipeline.

Policy & Structure Mastery: You know your lenders inside out and can design structures for investors, trusts, SMSFs and complex income types.

Escalation & Negotiation: Be the go-to for lender escalations and help get tricky deals over the line.

Workflow Optimisation: Collaborate with operations to streamline systems (FLEX, BrokerEngine, Quickli, AOL) and improve throughput.

Client + Broker Support: Be the final pair of eyes before submission — and the first call when brokers need technical structuring help.

You Bring:

✅ 3+ years experience as a mortgage broker or credit assessor (ideally both)

✅ Cert IV in Finance & Mortgage Broking (Diploma preferred)

✅ A natural leader — you’ve coached or mentored junior team members before

✅ Expert-level understanding of major lender policies, structures, and servicing calculators

✅ Experience with investor clients, trust structures, complex incomes

✅ Highly proficient with FLEX, Broker Engine, Quickli, AOL, ApplyOnline

✅ Obsessive attention to detail + strong written/verbal communication skills

✅ Able to work at speed while maintaining file quality and compliance
