About the Role

We’re seeking a proactive, seasoned Installation & Service Manager with proven operations leadership experience in managing trade and onsite installation teams. Reporting directly to the General Manager, you’ll oversee a skilled team of installers, ensuring smooth operations, efficient scheduling, high-quality standards, and excellent customer satisfaction. This role is pivotal to delivering on Stan Bond’s promise of superior products and unmatched service across our diverse product range—blinds, curtains, shutters, awnings, and security screens.

What You'll Be Doing

Operational Leadership: Manage daily operations for installation projects, coordinating scheduling, inventory, and on-site quality control to consistently meet high standards.

Team Management & Development: Oversee recruitment, training, and mentoring of installers, fostering a strong team culture committed to safety, efficiency, and professionalism.

Continuous Improvement: Implement and champion Lean installation practices and continuous improvement initiatives to boost productivity, reduce errors, and enhance customer satisfaction.

Cross-Functional Collaboration: Coordinate closely with sales, manufacturing, and admin teams to ensure seamless project delivery from manufacturing floor to customer’s home.

Performance Analysis: Use Stan Bond’s SBOS system to track key performance indicators, generating insights and reports to drive strategic decisions and enhance operational excellence.

Safety & Compliance: Ensure strict adherence to health, safety, and environmental standards on every job site, promoting a safety-first mindset within your team.

What We're Looking For

Proven experience as an Installation Manager, Operations Manager, or similar leadership role managing onsite trade teams (preferably in building trades, window furnishings, home improvement, or related sectors).

Strong technical understanding of installation processes and products, with excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving capabilities.

Demonstrated expertise in project management, prioritizing effectively within a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

A hands-on leadership style focused on operational excellence and continuous improvement (familiarity with Lean principles is highly advantageous).

Strong proficiency with IT and ERP systems (SBOS or similar platforms) to optimize and drive operational outcomes.

Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to motivate, coach, and lead a diverse team of tradespeople.

Relevant qualifications in building trades, construction management, or a related discipline are highly desirable.
