About the role

Outscape is an highly respected residential landscaping company based in Adelaide, seeking a highly skilled and experienced Construction Manager to join their dynamic team. In this full-time position, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the successful delivery of complex residential landscaping projects, ensuring they are completed to the highest standards and within agreed timelines.

What you'll be doing

Manage the planning, coordination, and execution of residential landscaping projects on-site

Liaise with clients, subcontractors, and your internal team to ensure effective communication and collaboration

Oversee the procurement of materials and equipment, and manage supplier relationships

Monitoring and reporting on project progress, identify and mitigate risks, and implement corrective actions as required

Ensure compliance with relevant building codes, safety regulations, and quality standards

Provide hands-on supervision and guidance to construction crews, fostering a positive and productive work environment

Contribute to the continuous improvement of construction processes and workflows

Collaborate with the design team to provide input and feedback on project feasibility and constructability

What we're looking for

Extensive experience (minimum 5 years) as a Construction Manager (on the tools) in the residential landscaping industry

Demonstrated expertise in project management, including the ability to effectively plan, coordinate and execute complex landscaping projects

Strong technical knowledge of residential landscaping construction methods, materials, and equipment

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively liaise with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams

Proven track record of ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards

Thorough understanding of relevant building codes, safety regulations, and quality standards

Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and mentor junior members of the construction crew

Proficient in the use of construction management software and tools
