Tender Specialist - Perth, Australia

An exciting opportunity has opened up for a Tender Specialist to manage and coordinate tender submissions within a well-established global engineering business who are world leaders in the manufacture of gear reducers, gearmotors and electric motors.

As a Tender Specialist, you'll take ownership of the full tender process - from analysing technical specifications to preparing accurate technical and commercial offers. This crucial position reports directly to the Managing Director and plays a key role in project success, and is based in Perth, Australia.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyse tender documents to identify components relevant to company supply.
• Distinguish between in-house and third-party components.
• Prepare and send RFQs to external suppliers; negotiate prices and lead times.
• Populate detailed Excel cost breakdowns, including commercial terms.
• Ensure consistency across technical documentation and cover letters.
• Complete required datasheets and maintain accuracy in customer portals.

Requirements:

• Good understanding of Mechanical Engineering principles.
• Previous experience in Tender Office or Technical Sales roles.
• Familiarity with power transmission products is highly desirable.
• Strong skills in reading and interpreting technical documentation.
• Self-starter with a methodical approach and ability to manage deadlines.
