About the Role
Join our client's team as a Specialist Support Coordinator, reporting to the Program Manager, and play a pivotal role in empowering complex NDIS participants to achieve their goals. You will work closely with individuals and their families to help them take control of their lives by:

• Building strong support networks (both formal and informal)
• Navigating complex NDIS service systems and managing risk factors
• Ensuring effective budget management and flexible use of NDIS funds

What we need from you

• Australian Permanent Resident or Citizen
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in Specialist Support Coordination or a similar complex-care role
• Relevant bachelor's degree (e.g., Disability Studies, Social Work, Psychology, Occupational Therapy, etc)
• Demonstrated experience in managing complex needs assessments and high-risk participant cases
• Strong knowledge of NDIS funding structures, plan implementation, and budget tracking
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

What you'll bring

• Proven ability to advocate for participants in accessing services and plan reviews
• Experience in coordinating multidisciplinary teams and working collaboratively with multiple agencies
• Strong stakeholder management and liaison skills, including managing provider relationships
• Ability to manage multiple cases flexibly, prioritising competing needs
• Experience in crisis intervention and developing tailored support strategies
• Prior team leadership or mentoring experience preferred
