About the Role
Our client, LE STONE PTY LTD, is looking for a Mechanical Engineer to join their team in Clayton, VIC. This is a full-time position working with machinery used in stone cutting and polishing. You’ll be responsible for designing, setting up, and maintaining this equipment to keep things running smoothly.

Key Responsibilities

Design and improve machinery used for stone processing

Plan the factory layout to support safe and efficient operations

Install and commission heavy equipment

Conduct routine inspections and repairs

Troubleshoot and fix mechanical issues quickly

Maintain accurate records of all work done

Follow health and safety standards at all times

Work closely with other staff to improve systems and processes

What We’re Looking For

A degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field

At least 3 years of experience in a similar role

Experience with heavy machinery, especially in stone or manufacturing industries preferable

CAD design skills

Good problem-solving abilities

A strong safety focus

Team player with good communication skills
