Mechanical Engineer - Rotating Equipment, Pumps, Sales and Service.

Based in Kyabram, Victoria, reporting to the General Manager.

Key Responsibilities:

Design and organise the construction, operation, logistics, and maintenance of pumping solutions, as well as our mechanical and process plants and installations.

Establish programs to coordinate manufacturing activities and ensure that resource usage is cost-effective.

Deliver Technical Solutions: Partner with clients to provide technical, high-end solutions that make a real impact on their operations.

Establishing work measurement programs and analysing work samples to develop standards for Pumps and Rotating equipment.

Analysing workforce utilisation, facility layout, operational data and production schedules and costs, to determine optimum worker and equipment efficiencies

Design mechanical pumping equipment, machines, components, and products for manufacture.

Developing specifications for manufacture, and determining materials, equipment, piping, material flows, capacities and layout of plant construction and systems on site and on client sites across Australia. What

Responsibilities:

Experience & Drive: At least 5+ years in Mechanical Engineering experience within water, mining, irrigation or oil & gas.

Bachelor's degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering with specific Rotating Equipment industry design, service and installation experience.

Self-Motivated & Accountable: You’re driven to set a high standard for yourself, thrive on accountability, and get results without constant oversight.

Team Player: Though you’ll work independently, you bring excellent communication skills and know how to collaborate effectively.

Organising and managing project labour and the delivery of materials, plant and equipment

Establishing standards and policies for installation, modification, quality control, testing, inspection and maintenance according to engineering principles and safety regulations

Carrying out inspections to ensure optimum performance is maintained

Directing maintenance and coordinating requirements for new designs, surveys, and maintenance schedules.
