Position Overview:

We are seeking a committed Manager of Assets and Infrastructure to build a career within the Local Government sector. Leading our dedicated team, this role provides strategic oversight of asset management and operational functions within the Town of Mosman Park. The incumbent will ensure the maintenance, infrastructure, and redevelopment work aligns with the town's vision, delivering high-quality assets and infrastructure for the community and visitors alike.

This position offers the chance to play a pivotal role in shaping the town's future and making a tangible difference in enhancing the lives of its residents and visitors.

What you’ll do:

Plan and coordinate capital works, building maintenance, fleet, and strategic infrastructure programs

Lead asset and facilities management to support the Town’s sustainability goals

Manage a high-performing team, driving innovation, collaboration, and service excellence

Oversee project delivery and stakeholder engagement to ensure quality outcomes

Foster continuous improvement and implement best-practice policies and solutions

What we’re looking for:

Tertiary qualifications in Engineering, Asset Management, or related discipline or equivalent experience

Proven leadership experience in local government or a similar environment

Strong knowledge of asset lifecycle planning and infrastructure project delivery

Excellent stakeholder engagement, communication, and team management skills

Sound understanding of relevant legislation, regulations, and compliance standards

A collaborative, solutions-focused mindset with a commitment to public value

'C' class driver’s license
