About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Asset Manager to oversee the maintenance and performance of school facilities and a major carpark in WA. In this role, you will manage asset data, ensure compliance with regulations, support the operations team with technical advice, and deliver long-term maintenance plans. This is a key position responsible for keeping essential infrastructure running smoothly, safely, and efficiently.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Manage and maintain asset databases and lifecycle planning for WA Schools and QEii Carpark.
Ensure compliance with statutory, legal, and contractual obligations for facilities and services.
Provide technical support and advice to operations and facilities teams.
Analyse asset condition data and prepare reports with maintenance and replacement recommendations.
Oversee subcontractor performance to ensure services meet required standards.
Collaborate with stakeholders to deliver efficient and effective asset management strategies.
Support continuous improvement and innovation in facilities maintenance and compliance.
Skills and Experience:
Minimum 4 years’ experience in asset or facilities management across multiple sites.
Relevant qualifications in engineering, facility management, or trades.
Skilled in using asset management systems (e.g., CMMS, QFM, SPM).
Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities.
Proven ability to manage budgets, contractors, and technical reporting.
