The Shire of Exmouth is seeking a dedicated and proactive Coordinator Asset Management to join our team on a full-time basis.

About the role: Reporting to the Manager Assets and Engineering, the role will coordinate the development and ongoing maintenance of asset management plans and the improvement of the long-term asset management of the Shire’s infrastructure. The role will also have an operational component undertaking technical and project-related investigations, asset condition monitoring, conceptual planning, and financial analysis for assessment, design, development, maintenance, renewal, upgrade, and new works relating to assets.

What you’ll be doing: In this role, you will be responsible for:

· Working collaboratively to establish and maintain the Shire’s Asset Management Plan’s, including maintenance and renewal plans.

· Analysing and assessing asset inspection results, decide on corrective actions based on criteria, and issue work orders to the appropriate teams.

· Ensuring that you are following the procurement process in the contractual engagement and management of consultants and contractors through quotes, formal requests for quotes, or tenders within the level of approval.

· Assisting the Manager Assets and Engineering with the long-term budget process, including the preparation of operating and capital budget estimates and the life cycle costing of assets.

· Ensuring that you maintain a strong customer service culture, ensuring a service delivery approach that is efficiently responsive and professional when addressing issues, requests, and correspondence with stakeholders.

Ideally, the successful candidate will have a tertiary qualification in engineering, asset management, project management, or similar. You will be familiar with managing computerised asset management systems such as the ASSET & WORK MANAGER (formerly RAMM) digital system. You will have previous experience in any, if not all, of the following; asset management, project management, and contract management.

What we offer: This position is classified as a Level 8 under the Shire of Exmouth Enterprise Agreement 2017 and comes with the following remuneration benefits;

· Base salary of $84,889 per annum.

· Housing (single room in shared accommodation) if available OR housing allowance of $15,600.

· Location allowance of $1,955.

· Up to 21.5% superannuation (includes co-contribution by you).

· Regular RDOs and 5 weeks of annual leave.

· Eligibility for long service leave after 7 years of service (conditions apply), uniform allowance, employee assistance program and other well-being services.
