$165,000 - $175,000 + 17% Super (3 – 12 Month Contract)

Our client, large institution based in Perth’s Inner Suburbs, is looking to employ a General Manager of Asset Management to join their dynamic team. This position will see you responsible for overseeing a broad portfolio of services, including asset strategy, facility upkeep, security and infrastructure planning.

The leader we are looking for will play a pivotal role in the business’ reaching its strategies and plans while ensuring safety and compliance, with 6 senior direct reports and approximately 60 indirect reports.

Position Details
You will be managing divisions operating across key service areas such as property maintenance, security, landscaping, parking, and vehicle management.

Additionally, you will be provided with the opportunity to:

• Make the role your own! Inspire change and development by thinking analytically and reviewing current processes and practices.
• Administer and evaluate service agreements and vendor performance across a large, multi-location institution.
• Ensure services support operational excellence, meet legal and safety requirements, and reflect the business’ sustainability and strategic priorities.
• Use excellent management, communication, problem solving and strategic skills to drive overall business success and stakeholder engagement.

How can I be successful in this position?
Our client is looking for someone to come in and support change management, ideally possessing the below attributes:

• 5+ Years of senior management experience
• Experience dealing with large assets across a diverse portfolio
• Excellent leadership skills, liaising with various stakeholders
• Proven experience reaching and exceeding operational and strategic expectations
• Availability to work after hours as needed is required.
