This leading bathroom and tapware company have an exciting opening on their Sydney team. This is a great opportunity for an ambitious Business Development Manager who has the drive to build a brand and commercial customer base. If you are looking for your next long-term position this is the role for you.
General duties include developing sales activity, building and nurturing business relationships with specifiers (architects, designers and builders), identifying projects to target and building brand awareness through resellers.
The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of business management, extensive sales experience with a track record of delivering significant profits and business growth, proven ability to work completely autonomously and be self-motivated, key relationship management skills as well as being knowledgeable within the bathroom industry.
Responsibilities
Develop a commercial business plan and sales strategy
Prospect for a new network of specifiers and decision makers
Identify and engage profitable projects
Manage state business expenses, meeting budget guideline
Provide feedback to reporting manager
Skills and Experience
Experience in business development with a proven track record of growth
Self-motivated who is driven to succeed
Knowledge and understanding of bathroom and tapware as well as the broader A&D industry is highly desirable
