ABOUT THE COMPANY
My client is one of Australia’s leading commercial furniture suppliers. Their products include office desks, seating, meeting room furniture, workstations, and storage solutions. Their furniture is designed to help businesses create comfortable, functional, and modern workplaces. They supply to a range of clients including offices, education facilities, government departments, and commercial fit-outs across Australia.
ABOUT THE ROLE
As a Business Development Manager, you will be on the road every day, meeting new and existing customers. Your job is to find new business opportunities, understand what each client needs, and recommend the right furniture solutions for their space. You’ll be working with architects, facility managers, project managers, and office managers to help create practical and stylish work environments.
Here's what you'll be doing:
Research and connect with potential customers across commercial, education, government, and corporate sectors.
Visit client sites and show them how your furniture can meet their needs.
Build strong relationships to become their go-to person for all furniture needs.
Work closely with your internal team to manage quotes, orders, and deliveries.
Own your sales territory and take charge of your pipeline from start to finish.
ABOUT YOU
Has experience selling commercial furniture or commercial products.
Understands B2B sales and territory management.
Comfortable meeting clients face-to-face and building relationships.
Ability to understand clients needs and suggest practical solutions that fit their situation.
Works well independently but also enjoys being part of a team.
Has good communication and negotiation skills.
SALARY
BASE $80,000 - $100,000 | Super 12% | Car/Car Allowance | Commissions
