Contract Assistant Role:
Earth Civil Contracting are seeking a motivated and experienced Contract Administrator Assistant to join our growing team. In this role, you will assist the Construction Manager and Director. You’ll play a key part in assisting the construction team to price projects, prepare tenders, and managing contract documentation and progress claims, procuring materials in advance as well as when needed by our site team.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist and prepare accurate and competitive cost estimates for commercial carpentry projects
Liaise with builders, suppliers, and subcontractors to obtain quotes and clarify scopes
Assist in the review and interpret project plans and specifications when needed
Assist in the preparation, assess and manage contract documentation, variations, and progress claims
Assist with project coordination and scheduling as required
Where needed, Order, track and manage materials
Create and cross reference purchase orders
Required Skills & Experience:
Previous experience in a contract administration or estimating role (ideally within construction / Civil
Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Word etc
Excellent communication and negotiation skills
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
Can do - get it done attitude
Accounts Role:
Key Responsibilities
Previous experience (2 yrs +) in an accounts and admin role
MYOB experience essential
Certificate III / IV in accounting/bookkeeping - highly regarded
Competent in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel
Excellent written and verbal communication skills required
Strong analytical ability and attention to detail
Complete tasks in an organised and timely manner
Ability to work under pressure
Ability to work in a team environment

Accounts receivable
Office support duties
