Salary Range:

$40-$50.00 per hour, depending on experience

We are a growing and client-focused team passionate about delivering transparent, efficient, and compliant SMSF solutions. We're now looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Assistant Accountant & Admin to support our operations on a part-time basis

About the Role

This role supports both the Assistant accountant and administrative functions of the business, ensuring that client records, financial data, and compliance processes are well-maintained and accurate. You will play a critical part in the day-to-day financial operations and office administration, supporting the wider SMSF team.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and Payroll functions to ensure accurate and timely processing.

Manage month-end close activities and prepare financial reports in accordance with internal deadlines.

Build and manage internal & external reporting.

Document management and tracking

Daily operational communication with stakeholder

General Office Administration

Qualifications & Experience

18 months’ experience in bookkeeping, finance admin, or accounts support

Strong skills in Excel and Xero

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

Good communication skills and ability to work independently

Understanding of SMSF processes is a plus, but not required

Australian work rights required
