About the role

Consolidated Panels & Veneers is seeking a Part-time Accounts Assistant (starting as Casual) to join our team in Horsley Park, NSW. In this important role, you will be responsible for providing administrative and financial support to our accounting department, ensuring the accurate and timely processing of financial transactions.

The Role is 3 days a week x 5 hours each day, you will be working with a small friendly team some of whom will share some of your responsibilities.

What you'll be doing

Maintain and reconcile accounts payable and accounts receivable records

Process invoices, bills, and other financial documents in a timely manner

Assist with the preparation of monthly reports and statements

Perform bank reconciliations and cash reports

Provide customer service support to clients and suppliers

Collaborate with the accounting team to ensure compliance with procedures

Contribute to the continuous improvement of our accounting processes

What we're looking for

Experience in an accounts assistant or similar role

A self-motivated, punctual, reliable, and problem-solving person who can work independently and as part of a team

Experience with accounting software, and competency with microsoft excel and word

Excellent numerical, analytical skills with attention to detail and time management

Solid understanding of accounts payable and accounts receivable processes

Excellent communication skills with suppliers, customers and co workers

Ability to help management with reports and enquiries

Ability to help with general administration duties
