Our client is a well-regarded specialist law firm seeking an experienced, self-driven, and proactive Office Manager to oversee operations in their busy Brisbane office. This is a rare opportunity to step into a senior business services role supporting a collaborative, high-performing team.

The Role
This is a hands-on leadership role where you’ll manage the day-to-day running of the Brisbane office and oversee a small admin team. You’ll report into the Melbourne-based Head of Operations and have plenty of scope to take ownership, solve problems, and drive office efficiency.
Your day-to-day will include:
▪️ Leading and managing the Brisbane admin team (4 direct reports)
▪️ Overseeing office operations including budgeting, procurement, catering, and events
▪️ Running new starter inductions and coordinating office moves
▪️ Supporting firm initiatives and coordinating security compliance across the office
▪️ Ensuring a high standard of support for partners and staff across departments
▪️ Event planning and coordination, including internal staff events
▪️ Identifying opportunities to streamline admin processes and boost efficiency
▪️ Providing reception cover and general admin support as needed
About You
▪️ Minimum 2 years' experience as an Office Manager (professional services preferred)
▪️ Proven leadership and team coordination skills
▪️ Confident managing budgets, suppliers, and operational tasks
▪️ Proactive, solutions-focused and comfortable working independently
▪️ Strong communication skills with a warm, approachable manner
▪️ Highly organised, tech-savvy, and driven by continuous improvement
