The Position
We are looking for a motivated and adaptable office manager to join our team. Based in our Yatala office, this on-site leadership role is critical to ensuring daily operations run efficiently and smoothly. The Office Manager will lead and support administrative and operational staff, step in to fill roles when team members are on leave and work closely with the General Manager to drive process improvements across the business.
Your primary responsibilities will include:
Overseeing daily office activities, managing office supplies and equipment, coordinating maintenance, and ensuring a safe and efficient work environment.
Lead and support administrative, warehouse, and service teams by delegating tasks, providing guidance, and ensuring effective communication and productivity.
Managing recruitment, onboarding, and performance management, and supporting the resolution of workplace matters.
Ensure office compliance by managing documentation, budgets, computer systems, furnishings, and adherence to health and safety regulations and relevant legislation.
Step into operational or administrative roles as needed to maintain continuity during staff absences
Collaborate with the General Manager to implement operational strategies and improve internal systems
Provide backup support for accounts payable/receivable and basic MYOB entry and reporting during leave coverage
Foster a positive team culture and actively contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
The ideal candidate will have:
Proven experience in an office management, operations, or team leader role
Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with a flexible and proactive mindset
Comfortable working across teams and stepping into a variety of roles when needed
Excellent organisational and multitasking abilities.
Strong verbal communication skills with a professional and courteous phone manner.
Sound understanding of accounts processes and MYOB experience preferred
Ability to communicate clearly and work collaboratively with senior leadership
A hands-on, solutions-focused attitude with a passion for team success and business efficiency
