About the role

Heritage Building Centre is seeking a skilled Warehouse Supervisor to join our team in Annandale, NSW. As a full-time Warehouse Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the efficient and effective day-to-day operations of our warehouse, ensuring the smooth flow of goods and materials.

What you'll be doing

Supervising and coordinating the work of warehouse staff to ensure all tasks are completed accurately and on time

Monitoring inventory levels, placing orders, and managing stock rotation to maintain optimal stock levels

Overseeing the safe and efficient loading and unloading of goods and materials

Ensuring compliance with all relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations

Investigating and resolving any issues or discrepancies in the warehouse

Providing training and guidance to warehouse staff to improve their skills and productivity

Maintaining accurate records and generating reports on warehouse activities

What we're looking for

Minimum 2 years' experience in a warehouse supervisor or team leader role within the manufacturing, transport, or logistics industry

Strong organisational and problem-solving skills with the ability to multitask and prioritise effectively

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to lead and motivate a team

Proficient in the use of warehouse management systems and inventory software

Thorough understanding of relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations

Forklift licence and experience in operating warehouse equipment
