CTA Metalworks is a small but busy fencing and metalworks sub-contractor servicing Tier 1 Commercial Construction across Victoria. It is a member of the CTA Group of businesses that has an operation in each state, a diverse product portfolio and over 85 employees nationally which has led to CTA experiencing significant growth both through company acquisitions and an expanding market share.

CTA is seeking a well-rounded individual to assist in the co-ordination of our fencing and metalworks business. This role will commence as an understudy to the General Manager, as a Project Coordinator with the opportunity for quick career progression for the right candidate.

It is a fantastic opportunity for someone who wants to get involved in the operation of a business in the construction industry and exercise the skills required to see projects from inception through to final completion.

In the process you will become a pivotal member of the CTA team.

About the Role

As an understudy to the Company General Manager, you will assume responsibility for the following duties:

Visiting job sites to liaise with Clients, develop relationships and ensure projects are being delivered as expected.

Be the on-site go to person when decisions need to be made.

Take full responsibility for the delivery of quality product, installation and safety on site.

Oversee the on-time delivery of product to meet installation schedules

Preparation of monthly Progress Claims and liaising with the Accounts Team to ensure monthly claims are submitted correctly.

Monitor workload across the operation and making recommendations with regards to resourcing.

Applicants who have the following are highly regarded:

Tertiary qualified in Construction, project management, a bachelor’s degree in engineering or a similar technically minded discipline.
