The opportunity
Port Stephens Libraries is seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic administrative professional to provide seamless support to the Library Services Manager and broader Library team.
As Business Support Officer you will coordinate the Administration Office of Port Stephens Libraries, enabling a wide range of projects and services to be delivered to the community. You will be the point of contact for Tilligerry Community Library and liaise with the volunteer in charge, to provide a high level of support and assistance.

This is a permanent opportunity – working full-time 35 hours / week + access to a flexible working arrangement
Base Salary Range: $69,693 to $81,809 pa based on 35 hours / week + 12% superannuation + $2,312 retention allowance
You will be working from PSC Library, Raymond Terrace

Prepare and manage correspondence, undertake electronic file management, and resolve enquiries
Process financial transactions including monthly credit cards and reconciliations, create online requisitions, and assist in preparing, reconciling and lodging monthly statistical and financial reports/returns to state agencies
Produce promotional material for library programs, activities and events, and promote via eNewsletter, social media, library website and other communication channels
Create, promote, and manage online library programs and events via Eventbrite

Demonstrated commitment to a customer service culture and delivery of quality service
An ability to manage multiple tasks, and operate autonomously in a high volume work environment
Certificate IV in Business Administration and/or equivalent experience
Ability to operate Microsoft Office Suite and online booking platforms as required
