We are a busy, growing paediatric specialist clinic in beautiful South Perth. Our team of dedicated paediatricians manages children with developmental and medical problems.

Due to expansion, we require an experienced medical receptionist. This is a casual position initially. You must have experience with at least one medical software and good Microsoft Office skills. You will be required to open and close the clinic on occasion, so you must be reliable. We would like you to take pride in your work and be a really great team player with attention to detail.

You must have excellent communication skills and be able to enter data accurately. Knowledge of Medicare items and some medical terminology would be helpful, although we appreciate that this is dependent on your previous clinic experience.

The position entails:

Excellent communication skills on the phone, email and front desk.

Answering the phone and attending to missed calls.

Checking messages on various media in the clinic.

Opening the clinic and preparing the day's consulting rooms and waiting room.

Clinic checking and preparation.

Accurately inputting data.

Invoicing patients and making appointments

Scanning documents and attaching documents to patients' records.

Faxing and emailing documents.

Attending to patient enquiries.

Liaise with other clinics when necessary.

Other miscellaneous tasks as required.

You must have a Police clearance less than 3 months old and be able to acquire your Working with Children Check.
