Jupiter Health and Medical Services Pty Ltd is seeking a Casual Medical Receptionist to join our team in Subiaco, WA. This is a Casual Position that plays a vital role in the day-to-day operations of our busy general practice. The successful candidate will be the first point of contact for patients and visitors, providing high-quality customer service while supporting the practice team through a variety of administrative and operational duties.

Key Responsibilities:

Greet patients and visitors in a warm and professional manner

Answer phones, manage bookings, and confirm appointments

Arrive patients at the front desk and manage appointment scheduling, ensuring the correct examinations are booked based on request forms

Assist with new patient registrations and data entry

Handle accounts, banking, Medicare batching, and other billing activities

Process payments and Medicare claims

Provide a high standard of patient care and customer service by anticipating, recognising, and meeting patient needs

Always protect patient privacy and dignity, and aim to ensure patient comfort

Maintain cleanliness and order at the front desk

Perform general office duties such as scanning, filing, and emailing

Support clinical staff with basic administrative tasks

Contribute to quality patient care through effective delivery of admin services

Cooperate and assist other team members during busy periods

What we’re looking for:

Previous customer service or admin experience (medical reception experience a bonus but not essential)

Confident using a computer and learning new systems

Friendly, reliable, and able to work in a fast-paced environment

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Willingness to learn and contribute to a team

Availability for weekday and weekend shifts
