Landsdale Medical Centre seeks, a Casual medical receptionist to join our expanding team and who is preferably able to work late/night shifts (7 -9PM) or any shifts between 7am and 7pm weekdays and weekends.

Located in Landsdale, Western Australia, you will have the opportunity to work in an exciting and very busy clinic that offers quality care to patients.

A high level of enthusiasm, self-motivation, exceptional levels of customer service, and the ability to operate in a team environment will be the key to your success in this role.

You will need to demonstrate compassion and a genuine interest in patient-centred care, as well as a capacity for efficient and effective service. As a successful applicant, you will play a pivotal role in the overall patient experience of our clinic by providing a sensitive and caring interaction.

You will be required to greet patients, book appointments, enter patient data, facilitate procedure bookings with external facilities and handle a variety of patient phone and email enquiries.

Other administrative duties include generating invoices and receiving payments, maintaining doctors’ schedules, and being responsive to requests from other team members. You will also be required to correspond by telephone, mail, and email to patients, doctors, and referring specialists.

Essential Criteria:

We are seeking someone who can work effectively as a team member and is also comfortable working independently. The successful applicant must have well-developed communication skills, excellent attention to detail and most importantly, a friendly, approachable manner.

At least 1 year of previous experience in a similar role within the medical field.

Experience with the Best Practice software package.

Excellent computer abilities including Microsoft Office.

Well presented, polite, and courteous.

Friendly with excellent interpersonal skills.

Ability to multi-task and prioritize under pressure.

Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Reliable personal transport and driver’s license.
