Run Charitable Reuse Australia’s social media, messaging and marketing to support op shops and educate Australians on the impact of the charitable reuse sector.

Reporting direct to the CEO, with a high degree of autonomy and flexibility of hours over a total of three days a week, the role includes full support and ongoing training and development.

The role may be located anywhere in Australia with a WFH/virtual set up, either as a contractor or staff member – and includes travel to all states annually.

Develop and implement comprehensive social media plan aligned with marketing goals and brand identity.

Position the organisation as the source of truth; tone to be professional, engaging respectful, honest and friendly.

Create, curate, and oversee engaging, high-quality content for social media channels (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn) with awareness and education as a key foundation.

Monitor social media trends, tools and applications to ensure innovative and up-to-date strategies.

Analyse performance metrics and generate reports to measure success and optimize content strategies.

Collaborate with members (Salvos, Vinnies, Red Cross, Save the Children, Lifeline etc ...) to amplify key messages and showcase industry unity.

Develop video content with members across all states, recording, editing and posting video content in line with the key messaging objectives

Engage delegates and exhibitors at the annual Charitable Reuse Australia conference to create content, build energy and communicate impact and awareness

Handle all in-house marketing and website updates, manage monthly e-newsletter, create social media tiles and collateral for use by members
