This prestigious publishing firm, with an exceptional reputation for quality and excellence in the eye care industry, has an incredible opportunity for a reliable and motivated administrative and production assistant to join its long-established team of professionals.
The Role
Toma Publishing is currently looking for an outstanding person to provide administrative support to the office. The role will primarily report to the Production Manager, and will involve client liaison, answering and directing queries, and day-to-day administration tasks, to facilitate the smooth operations of this busy office. This position is part time, equivalent to three to four days per week (24 to 32 hours).
Depending on the future growth of the company, there is potential for this role to develop into a full-time role.
Responsibilities
Account management:
Provide assistance to clients, ensuring they are aware of, and able to meet scheduled deadlines for features and advertising,
Generate monthly or weekly engagement reports,
Maintain subscriber details, and
Assist with invoicing.
Digital management:
Manage and optimise Toma Publishing’s various websites (WordPress),
Manage domain names, renewal dates and security,
Manage online advertising placement through Google Ad Manager,
Produce regular e-newsletters using supplied content, and
Manage and monitor engagement of Toma Publishing’s social media channels and content calendar, using supplied content.
Other:
Assisting with Production Manager overflow tasks, as required.
Skills Required
Intermediate Microsoft Office Suite skills,
Experience with WordPress and SEO,
Basic Photoshop skills (preferred but not essential),
Experience with email broadcast platforms (Campaign Monitor preferred but not essential), and
Experience with Google Analytics and Google Ad Management (preferred but not essential).
The Successful Candidate
You will have a minimum of two years’ experience in an administrative office environment.
You possess strong administrative and proactive problem-solving skills. You are organised and pay attention to detail.
You have excellent verbal and written communication skills, and an ability to develop rapport and build relationships, both within the Toma Publishing team and with clients.
