Junior Project Manager - Switchboards

About the Role

As a Junior Project Manager, you'll gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. You'll work closely with experienced engineers and production teams, building your knowledge of switchboard projects and industry standards. Your responsibilities will include:

Overseeing and reviewing detailed engineering designs.

Procuring equipment, ensuring the best product at the best price.

Monitoring product construction through the factory and liaising with production staff for efficient builds.

Administering contracts, managing projects, and scheduling tasks.

Controlling project finances.

Forecasting and reporting project progress to management.

Ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and on budget.

Building and maintaining strong customer relationships.

What We're Looking For

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

A White Card and a Driver's License.

A Tertiary qualification in Electrical Engineering or a relevant Trade Certificate.

Exposure to switchboard manufacturing or electrical project environments.

An understanding of the Electrical Safety Act, AS3000:2007, and AS/NZS 61439.

Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

Effective time management and organisational ability.

Basic knowledge of contract administration and procurement.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office and project management tools.

The ability to interpret technical drawings and engineering documentation.

A strong problem-solving mindset and attention to detail.

A team-oriented approach with a willingness to learn and develop.

The Details

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 38+ hours per week, 8 am - 4 pm.

Salary: $70,000 - $95,000 per annum.
