About the role

We’re looking for someone with solid site experience - ideally in site supervision and/or carpentry - who’s ready to take the next step in their career and move into a leadership role. As a Junior Project Manager, you’ll play a hands-on role from day one, taking ownership of site management while learning the skills required for project management.

You’ll be working closely with our management team to ensure seamless productivity for projects and a quality end-result - all while building your knowledge in planning, procurement, scheduling, and project delivery. Over time, you’ll grow into a more strategic role, managing projects from start to finish.

Responsibilities include:

Day-to-day management and coordination of all trades on site.

Maintain strong relationships with all stakeholders, including clients, trades & suppliers.

Offer technical and logistical support to subcontractors.

Understand and interpret construction drawings.

Champion safe work practices from project planning through to delivery.

Ensure compliance with standards, policies, procedures, and documented specifications.

What we’re looking for

Trade-qualified with solid on-site experience (carpentry background preferred, site supervision experience highly regarded)

Eagerness to grow into a full project management role

Comfortable leading on-site and juggling multiple tasks

Able to read and interpret plans and technical drawings

Reliable, organised, and takes pride in a job well done

Strong leadership skills with a knack for resolving site issues and directing resources efficiently.

Strong communication skills

Proficiency in computer skills (Experience in Microsoft suite preferred including applications such as SharePoint, Projects, and Excel)
