What you’ll be working on:

Assisting with the implementation and monitoring of compliance with relevant financial regulations, such as those set by the Australian Securities and Investments Commission (ASIC) and the Australian Prudential Regulation Authority (APRA).

Maintaining accurate records of compliance activities, preparing reports, and ensuring that all documentation is up to date and compliant with regulatory standards.

Assisting in the development and review of internal controls and procedures to ensure they meet regulatory requirements and best practices.

Supporting the monitoring and auditing of company practices to detect any deviations from compliance standards and regulatory requirements.

Assisting in the identification and assessment of compliance risks and contributing to the development of strategies to mitigate those risks.

Acting as a point of contact for compliance-related inquiries from staff and external parties and facilitating communication between the compliance department and other departments.

Keeping up-to-date with changes in financial regulations and industry standards and assisting with the implementation of necessary changes within the company.

What we’re looking for:

Educational Background: Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply, particularly those with a degree in Finance or a related field.

Attention to Detail: Exceptional attention to detail is crucial for ensuring accuracy and compliance in all tasks.

Positive Attitude: A positive and helpful demeanor is essential for effective collaboration and problem-solving.

Technical Proficiency: High-level computer skills, including proficiency in financial software and data analysis tools, are important for managing and analyzing information efficiently.
