🔍 About the Role

This is a hands-on role with clear potential to grow into a leadership position. You’ll be joining a supportive, fast-paced team where you’ll play a key role in the success of tender submissions and pre-construction outcomes. You’ll also contribute to the ongoing improvement of systems, processes, and data-driven insights that will help position the business for scalable growth.

🛠 What You’ll Work On

Reporting to the Business Development Manager, your varied daily responsibilities will include:

Using EstimateOne for tendering and procurement

Estimating approximately 5–10 tenders per month

Sourcing and managing subcontractor pricing within internal databases

Collaborating with bid coordinators and project managers throughout the tender lifecycle

Preparing and submitting accurate, competitive tenders using CostX and Cubit

Conducting site visits and liaising with clients and consultants as required

Contributing to the improvement of estimating processes and identifying efficiency opportunities

Performing data analysis and systems reporting

Mentoring junior team members as the team expands

Progressing into a leadership role as the company scales

🔑 Key Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Building and Construction Management (or related field)
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in commercial construction estimating
• Experience across refurbishments, fitouts, and government/school new builds
• Proficient in CostX, Cubit, Buildsoft or similar software
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
• Experience estimating projects up to $20m, including external works, civil and structural
