Our client is a well established, Tier 1 Remedial Building Company that has been specialising in Residential and Commercial Remedial projects, Heritage Projects and Facade and Cladding Replacement projects for over 50 years.

The Role

Our client currently has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Estimator with experience in Remedial Building, Heritage Restoration and Facade Cladding Replacement works to join their team. You will have 10+ years experience estimating Remedial Building, Heritage Restoration and Facade Cladding Replacement works (Desired). We will still consider Estimators with less experience in this particular works.

Role Responsibilities

• Attend tender meetings
• Prepare tender estimates
• Read and interpret project documentation, including specifications, drawings and BOQ’s
• Complete take-offs
• Preparation of proposed methodology
• Develop strong relationships with all stakeholders
• Evaluate sub-contractor and supplier tender documentation
• Provide detailed handover of project information to the Construction Team

What are we looking for?

• Essential Experience - Minimum 10+ years recent experience estimating Remedial Building projects
• Essential Experience in Estimating Strata Residential and Commercial Remedial Building works including - Concrete Cancer Repairs, Balcony Remediation, Cavity Flashing works, Waterproofing, and Facade Recladding (Preferably Project Remediate Combustible Cladding projects)
• Tertiary Qualified in Engineering or Construction Management
• Thorough understanding of the Remedial Building and Facade Recladding process
• Full Australian working rights - No VISA sponsorship available
