With over 50 years of industry excellence, our client is a highly respected Tier 1 Remedial Building Contractor, specialising in Residential and Commercial Remedial Projects, Heritage Restorations, Facade Upgrades and Cladding Replacements. Known for delivering technically complex projects with precision, they’ve built a strong reputation across Sydney for quality, reliability, and innovation.

Due to sustained growth and a strong project pipeline, they are now seeking an experienced Senior Estimator to join their high-performing team.

About the Role

As Senior Estimator, you will play a pivotal role in preparing detailed, accurate, and competitive estimates for a range of remedial, heritage and façade upgrade projects. Working closely with senior leadership, project managers and subcontractors, you will contribute to major tenders ranging from $1M to $30M+.

This is a strategic opportunity for an experienced Estimator who is passionate about high-quality remedial construction and keen to work with a company delivering some of Sydney’s most iconic upgrades and restorations.

Key Responsibilities

• Attend and contribute to tender and pre-start meetings
• Interpret architectural and engineering drawings, specifications, and BOQs
• Perform detailed quantity take-offs and prepare cost estimates
• Develop proposed construction methodologies and tender submission documentation
• Review subcontractor and supplier quotations and negotiate competitive pricing
• Prepare and present detailed project handovers to the construction delivery team
• Build and maintain strong working relationships with key stakeholders including consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams

Skills & Experience Required

• Concrete cancer repairs
• Balcony and façade remediation
• Waterproofing and cavity flashing works
• Combustible cladding replacement (ideally under Project Remediate)

• Minimum 8+ years of estimating experience in Remedial Building, with exposure to:
• Experience estimating projects valued at $10M and above
• Tertiary qualifications in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related discipline
• Strong understanding of the remedial and cladding replacement process
• Excellent attention to detail, communication and negotiation skills
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
• Current and valid Australian driver’s licence
